Why create "Light" ?

Media gravitates towards putting the affluent, upwardly mobile lifestyles of the urban gays on the spotlight, while downplaying the challenges of the economically and socially marginalized. With Light, we shine the light on a protagonist who is living on the fringes of society, scraping by through prositution. This topic of prostitution is a taboo subject but this is precisely this reason that we want people to pay attention to this film.
